LOUIS TSE, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Louis is a Thermal Engineer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, building spacecraft to study planets, including our own. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at UCLA in 2016, and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with summa cum laude honors from Arizona State University in May 2011. He co-founded Students 4 Students while he was a Ph.D. student, to help his fellow students pursue the same dream of holding a diploma.
Lauren has served as a part of the Students 4 Students team since 2016. Lauren has formerly served as the Program Director and currently holds the position of Development Director within Students 4 Students. She has overseen the program since its inception along with an extraordinary team of young student leaders and faculty advisors. Lauren Dy graduated with her MSW in 2017 from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. She currently works at the UCLA-Duke University National Center for Child Traumatic Stress as a Training Coordinator to bring trauma-informed care, practices, and services to children in need throughout the United States.
Maritza aspired to become more vocal about the affect of homelessness and to help her community. College Homelessness is an issue which Maritza has faced and wants to be the voice and the support system for students dealing with similar issues. Maritza began her journey at Santa Monica College in 2016, and she will be starting her first year at UCLA this fall-2018. She is majoring in Art History and minoring in Public Affairs. She hopes to become a curator at an Art Museum and a professor at a community college. She enjoys drawing, attending art shows, and meeting new people.
Robin joined Students 4 Students in June of 2018 after taking a 15+ year sabbatical from a career in technology sales and consulting. She has been doing volunteer work for the last 15 years including fund development for OUR HOUSE Grief Support Center. Robin also leads a grief group at OUR HOUSE for children who are grieving the death of a parent. Robin graduated with a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University and holds a certificate in Human Services and Counseling from the Wagner Program at American Jewish University.
